I opted to go for a dash cap to cover the cracked dashboard on the Toyota. I got the original color of the dash matched for some SEM color coat paint and gave it a go.
Here I am gluing the dash cap onto the dash pad, holding everything together with clamps:
After the glue was all dry, I spray painted it with SEM color coat:
Got the front end put back together. Refurbished Quad assemblies with new (off ebay) grill & trim.
I like the classic minilite look – I think these wheels will look really nice. 15″ with low profile tires, same rolling radius as stock wheels so the speedo will be right on.
I have all the glass put back in, rear cargo area as well as all the door glass. Front door mirrors from a 83 corolla are installed.
